Honey-Glazed Corn Casserole: A Sweet Twist on Tradition

Casserole Base:

  • 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained

  • 1 (15 oz) can creamed corn

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 box (8.5 oz) Jiffy corn muffin mix

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • ¼ tsp salt

Honey Glaze (Optional but Amazing):

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon (optional for a cozy twist)


Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or casserole dish.

2. Mix the Casserole

  • In a large bowl, combine both corns, sour cream, melted butter, corn muffin mix, honey, and salt.

  • Stir just until combined—don’t overmix.

3. Bake

  • Pour mixture into the prepared dish.

  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden brown and the center is set.

4. Honey Glaze Time (Optional)

  • While casserole bakes, melt honey and butter together in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl.

  • Stir in cinnamon if using.

  • Brush glaze over the casserole as soon as it comes out of the oven.

5. Cool & Serve

  • Let sit for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
