Honey Lemon Chicken Skewers: A Zesty, Sweet, and Flavorful Grilled Recipe

1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Wooden or metal skewers


Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.

  • Add chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours).

  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.

  • Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.

  • Grill skewers for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and lightly charred.

 

  • Serve hot with a side of rice, salad, or grilled veggies.
