Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
4 slices cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough, if preferred)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon butter, melted
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form the beef mixture into 8 small patties, about the size of your biscuit dough.
-
Place a quarter slice of cheddar cheese and a tablespoon of crumbled bacon in the center of each patty. Fold the edges of the patty around the filling to form a ball.
-
Roll out the biscuit dough and cut it into 8 squares. Place each beef-filled ball into a piece of dough and seal the edges tightly, pinching them together to form a sealed “bomb.”
-
Place the wrapped bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
-
Brush each bomb with melted butter and drizzle a small amount of maple syrup on top.
-
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
-
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the dough is golden and the meat is cooked through.
-
Let the bombs cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with extra maple syrup for dipping if desired.
