Ingredients

• 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp onion powder

• 1 tsp cumin

• 1 tsp smoked paprika

• Salt and pepper, to taste

• 2 jalapeños, sliced

• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

• 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

• 1/4 cup sour cream

• 1/4 cup chicken broth


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for about 5-6 minutes on each side until browned but not fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, add sliced jalapeños and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until softened.

5. In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and chicken broth until smooth.

6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top of each chicken breast. Add sautéed jalapeños on top of the cream cheese mixture, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over everything.

7. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
