Lemon Herb Baked Salmon Recipe | Healthy & Flavorful Dinner

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 tsp dried rosemary

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh lemon wedges (for serving)

  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

  • Prepare the salmon:

    • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.

    • Place them on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if the skin is on.

  • Season the salmon:

    • Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets.

    • Sprinkle the fillets with garlic, thyme, rosemary, parsley, salt, and pepper.

    • Lay the lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets for extra flavor.

  • Bake the salmon:

    • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. The salmon should be opaque and easily flake with a fork.

 

  • Serve:

    • Remove the salmon from the oven and serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
