Lemon Herb Grilled Chicken: A Flavorful, Healthy Grilled Delight

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Lemon slices and fresh herbs, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.

  • Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over it. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  • Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 5–7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and juices run clear.

 

  • Let rest a few minutes before serving. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh herbs if desired.
