Loaded Chicken Parmesan Casserole Recipe – Comfort Food at Its Best

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken

  • 3 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)

  • 2 cups marinara sauce

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (or cottage cheese)

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish.

  • In a bowl, mix chicken, pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Spread mixture evenly into the baking dish.

  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

  • In a small bowl, mix bread crumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle over casserole.

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.

 

  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm!
