Loaded Potato Ranch Chicken Casserole: A Cheesy Comfort Food Delight

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
4 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  • In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, thawed hash browns, ranch seasoning, sour cream, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

  • Gradually add milk and mix until everything is evenly coated.

  • Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread it out evenly.

  • Top with mozzarella cheese (if using).

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the top is golden.

 

  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
