Louisiana Voodoo Fries Recipe – Bold, Spicy, and Irresistibly Cheesy

  • 1 bag frozen French fries (or 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced

  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (or drizzle to taste)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Toss fries with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne. Spread evenly on the baking sheet.

  • Bake 20–25 minutes (or according to package instructions) until crispy and golden.

  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Return to oven 3–5 minutes until melted.

  • Top with bacon, green onions, and parsley.

  • Drizzle with ranch dressing.

 

  • Serve hot and enjoy that bold Louisiana flavor!
