Ingredients
For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Lemon Garlic Sauce:
3 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup chicken broth
Juice of 2 lemons
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp honey
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
Season chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir in Italian seasoning and honey.
5. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced.
Combine & Simmer:
6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F).
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices.
Serve:
8. Serve hot with rice, roasted vegetables, or a side salad.
