One-Pot Honey Sriracha Chicken and Broccoli Pasta: The Ultimate Spicy-Sweet Comfort Meal

  • Author: Hannah

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

  • 3 cups chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

  • Fresh green onions or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Sauté Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.

Cook Aromatics:
In the same pot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add Pasta and Broccoli:
Add pasta, broccoli florets, chicken broth, honey, and sriracha to the pot. Stir to combine.

Simmer:
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked and broccoli is tender. Add more broth or water if needed.

Return Chicken:
Stir the cooked chicken back into the pot and heat through for 2 minutes.

Finish:
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using, stir well.

Serve:
Garnish with green onions or cilantro, then serve warm. Enjoy your spicy-sweet, creamy one-pot meal!
