Peach Cobbler with Cinnamon Crumble: A Delicious and Easy Recipe for Comforting Dessert

For the Filling:

  • 5 cups fresh or canned peaches (peeled and sliced)

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp nutmeg

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Cinnamon Crumble Topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (cold, cut into small pieces)


Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

  • Prepare the Filling:

    • In a large bowl, mix peaches with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.

    • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

  • Make the Crumble Topping:

    • In another bowl, whisk together flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

    • Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture is crumbly.

  • Assemble & Bake:

    • Evenly sprinkle the crumble over the peach mixture.

    • Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the topping is golden and crispy.

 

  • Serve:

    • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
