Peach Cobbler with Cinnamon Crumble – A Perfectly Sweet and Easy Dessert

For the Peach Filling:

  • 5 cups fresh peaches, sliced (or 2 (15 oz) cans, drained)

  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Cinnamon Crumble Topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

  • Prepare the Peach Filling:

    • In a bowl, mix peaches, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, cinnamon, and lemon juice.

    • Pour into the prepared baking dish.

  • Make the Cinnamon Crumble:

    • In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

    • Pour in melted butter and mix until crumbs form.

  • Assemble & Bake:

    • Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon crumble over the peaches.

    • Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.

 

  • Serve Warm:

    • Let cool slightly and serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
