Ingredients

1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

2 bell peppers (red & green), sliced

1 small onion, sliced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 tbsp cornstarch

1/2 cup beef broth or water

2 tbsp vegetable oil

Salt & pepper, to taste

Cooked rice, for serving

Sesame seeds & green onions, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

In a bowl, toss steak slices with cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add steak and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

Add remaining oil to the pan. Stir-fry bell peppers and onion for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.

Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Return steak to the pan.

Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin (if using), and beef broth. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Serve hot over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
