  • Author: Neriah

Description

Savor the rich flavors of Philly Cheesesteak Pasta Bake! This easy, cheesy dish combines ground beef, pasta, and melty cheese for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 onion, diced

2 cups mushrooms, sliced

3 cups cooked pasta (penne or rigatoni)

2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

1 cup beef broth

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and green bell pepper, and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add mushrooms and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.

In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.

Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add the cooked pasta to the beef mixture, stirring to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve hot and enjoy!
