Pioneer Woman Cheeseburger Pie – A Hearty, Cheesy Family Favorite

For the Filling:

1 pound ground beef

½ cup onion, diced

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the Batter:

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup whole milk

2 large eggs


Instructions

Prepare the Filling:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onions until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from heat and spread evenly in the prepared pie dish.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.

Make the Batter:

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, milk, and eggs until smooth.

Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese.

Bake:

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.

Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.

Serve and Enjoy!
