- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar and mozzarella)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese.

Mix Wet Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter.

Combine & Transfer to Pan:
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (do not overmix).
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake the Bread:
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
