Ingredients

1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp ginger paste

1 tbsp garam masala

1 tsp ground cumin
-
1 tsp paprika
-
1 tsp chili powder (optional, for heat)

1 cup tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes)

1 cup heavy cream
-
1/2 cup plain yogurt

Salt & pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.

Stir in garam masala, cumin, paprika, and chili powder. Cook for 1 minute.

Add tomato sauce, heavy cream, and yogurt. Stir well to combine.

Return chicken to the pan, season with salt & pepper, and simmer for 10–15 minutes until cooked through and sauce thickens.

Garnish with fresh cilantro.

Serve hot with naan bread or steamed rice.
