Raspberry Crescent Rolls Recipe: A Sweet & Simple Pastry Delight

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • ½ cup raspberry jam or preserves

  • ½ cup fresh raspberries (optional)

  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp butter (melted)

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

For the Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 12 tbsp milk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven & Prepare Dough:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    • Separate crescent roll dough into triangles.

  • Prepare the Filling:

    • In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  • Assemble the Rolls:

    • Spread a thin layer of cream cheese mixture over each crescent triangle.

    • Add about 1 teaspoon of raspberry jam near the wide end of each triangle.

    • Optionally, place a fresh raspberry on top.

    • Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end and tucking the edges slightly to prevent filling from leaking.

  • Bake:

    • Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

    • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

 

  • Make the Glaze & Serve:

    • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

    • Drizzle over warm crescent rolls before serving.
