Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole – Creamy, Cheesy & Crunchy Comfort Food

For the Casserole:

3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

½ cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

For the Topping:

1 sleeve (about 30) Ritz crackers, crushed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

Prepare the Casserole:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Stir in the shredded chicken and cheddar cheese until well combined.

Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Make the Ritz Cracker Topping:

In a medium bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter and mix until evenly coated.

Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the casserole.

Bake the Casserole:

Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Serve and Enjoy!

Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with dried parsley if desired.
