Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon Recipe: The Ultimate Guide

  • 1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed & halved

  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Spread sprouts evenly on the baking sheet. Scatter chopped bacon on top.

  • Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until sprouts are caramelized and bacon is crispy.

  • If desired, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and honey/maple syrup before serving.
