Ingredients
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.

Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the asparagus.

Roast for 12–15 minutes, or until asparagus is tender and slightly crispy on the edges.

Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Optionally, zest lemon over the top and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
