Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas: Quick & Easy Tex-Mex Dinner Recipe

Ingredients

1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
3 bell peppers (any color), sliced
1 red onion, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 packet fajita seasoning (or homemade)
Juice of 1 lime
Salt and pepper, to taste
Warm tortillas, for serving
Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese, salsa, chopped cilantro


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

  • In a large bowl, toss chicken, peppers, and onion with olive oil, fajita seasoning, lime juice, salt, and pepper.

  • Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheet in a single layer.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

 

  • Serve hot with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings.
