Smoked Brisket & Beer Cheese Pretzel Bombs: The Ultimate Comfort Food Experience

Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked brisket, chopped

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade pretzel dough)

  • 1 cup beer cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  • Coarse salt, for sprinkling

  • 2 tablespoons baking soda (for boiling)

  • Water, for boiling


Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Dough:
Roll out pizza dough and cut into 12 equal squares.

Fill Dough:
Place a spoonful of chopped smoked brisket and about 1 tablespoon of beer cheese sauce in the center of each square.

Form Bombs:
Fold dough over filling and pinch edges tightly to seal, forming a ball.

Boil Pretzel Bombs:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add baking soda. Boil each dough ball for 30 seconds, then remove with a slotted spoon and place on prepared baking sheet.

Egg Wash and Salt:
Brush each pretzel bomb with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.

Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.

 

Serve:
Serve warm with extra beer cheese sauce for dipping.
