Soft & Fluffy Banana Muffins: The Perfect Homemade Treat

Ingredients

  • 🍌 3 ripe bananas (mashed)

  • 🥚 1 large egg

  • 🍬 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 🍯 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 🧈 1/3 cup melted butter (or vegetable oil)

  • 🥛 1/4 cup milk

  • 🍦 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 🌾 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 🧂 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 🧂 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 🍫 Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped walnuts


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease lightly.

  • Mash bananas in a large bowl. Add egg, sugars, melted butter, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.

  • Add dry ingredients: Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.

  • Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.

  • Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling about 3/4 full.

  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

 

  • Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
