Ingredients
For the Casserole:
300 g egg noodles
500 g ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (400 g) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon paprika
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the Noodles
Boil egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Beef Mixture
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned and onions are soft.
Add garlic, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Prepare the Creamy Mixture
In a bowl, mix sour cream and cottage cheese until well combined.
Assemble the Casserole
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a greased baking dish, layer half of the noodles, then spread half of the sour cream mixture over them. Add half of the beef mixture. Repeat the layers.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
