Spicy Nashville Hot Bacon Wrapped Mozzarella Sticks Recipe

  • 12 mozzarella cheese sticks

  • 12 slices thick-cut bacon

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat)

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

  • Toothpicks (to secure)

  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for dipping)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a small bowl, mix hot sauce, brown sugar, cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, and melted butter to make the Nashville hot glaze.

  • Wrap each mozzarella stick tightly with a slice of bacon, securing ends with toothpicks.

  • Place wrapped sticks on the baking sheet. Brush generously with the hot glaze.

  • Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until bacon is crispy and cheese is starting to melt.

  • Brush with extra glaze before serving for extra spice.

  • Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dip.
