1 lb spicy turkey sausage (or regular if preferred)
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups biscuit mix (like Bisquick)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the turkey sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, biscuit mix, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and softened cream cheese.
Mix everything together until well combined. It’s best to use your hands to ensure all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
