- 8 oz steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz stir-fry noodles (udon, lo mein, or rice noodles)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- ½ yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- ½ cup snap peas
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the steak – In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Add steak slices and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Sear the steak – Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat. Add steak and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the shrimp – In the same pan, add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Stir-fry the vegetables – Add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell peppers, and snap peas for 2–3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Combine everything – Return the steak and shrimp to the pan. Add the cooked noodles, sesame oil, red pepper flakes (if using), and green onions. Toss everything together and cook for another minute.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot. Enjoy!
