Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or ground chicken/turkey)

½ cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

½ tsp black pepper

2 cups broccoli florets (steamed or blanched)
Honey Garlic Sauce:

½ cup honey
-
¼ cup soy sauce
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pepper. Form into meatballs.

Place meatballs on the baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes, until cooked through.

Meanwhile, steam or blanch broccoli until just tender, then set aside.

In a skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar. Bring to a simmer. Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens.

Add baked meatballs to the skillet, tossing to coat in sticky honey garlic sauce.

Stir in broccoli and cook 1–2 minutes more.

Serve hot over rice or noodles.
