Ingredients

2–3 lbs pork baby back ribs (or St. Louis-style ribs)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon paprika (smoked or sweet)

1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-
1/2 teaspoon chili powder or cayenne (optional, for heat)

1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven:

Set to 300°F (150°C) for slow roasting.
2. Prepare the ribs:

Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs (slide a knife under the membrane and pull it off with a paper towel grip).

Pat ribs dry with paper towels.
3. Season:

Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and chili powder in a bowl.

Rub ribs with olive oil, then coat generously with the dry rub on both sides.

Wrap the ribs tightly in foil (meat side up) and place on a baking sheet.
4. Bake low and slow:

Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until ribs are very tender.
5. Add BBQ sauce & broil:

Carefully unwrap the foil (watch for steam).

Brush ribs generously with BBQ sauce.

Broil for 5–8 minutes on high until the sauce is bubbling and caramelized. Watch closely!
6. Rest & serve:

Let ribs rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Serve with extra sauce on the side.
