The Best Peach Sorbet Without an Ice Cream Maker

  • Author: Hannah

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups frozen peach slices (about 45 ripe peaches, peeled & sliced before freezing)

  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 12 tablespoons lemon juice

  • Optional: pinch of salt and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prep Your Peaches

  • If using fresh peaches: peel, slice, and freeze them on a parchment-lined tray for 3–4 hours or overnight.

2. Blend It Up

  • In a high-powered blender or food processor, combine:

    • Frozen peach slices

    • Honey or maple syrup

    • Lemon juice

  • Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. This may take 1–3 minutes.

💡 Tip: If your blender struggles, add 1–2 tablespoons of water or coconut milk to help things move along.

3. Taste & Tweak

  • Adjust sweetness or lemon juice to taste.

  • Add vanilla or salt for more depth of flavor.

4. Serve or Freeze

  • Serve immediately for soft-serve texture.

  • Or transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1–2 hours for scoopable sorbet.
