Ingredients
-
4 lobster tails (5–6 oz each)
-
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp lemon juice
-
1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp salt
-
¼ tsp black pepper
-
Lemon wedges, for serving
-
Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
-
Prepare the Lobster Tails:
-
Using kitchen shears, cut down the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping at the tail fan.
-
Gently pull the meat out and rest it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base.
-
-
Make the Garlic Butter:
-
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
-
Brush half of the mixture generously over the lobster meat.
-
-
Preheat the Grill:
-
Heat grill to medium-high (about 400°F / 200°C).
-
Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
-
-
Grill the Lobster Tails:
-
Place tails meat side up on the grill.
-
Close the lid and cook for 5–7 minutes, basting once or twice with more garlic butter.
-
Flip and grill meat side down for 1–2 minutes to get light char marks.
-
Lobster is done when the meat is opaque and firm, and internal temp reaches 135–140°F (57–60°C).
-
-
Serve & Enjoy:
-
Drizzle with remaining garlic butter, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
