1 lb ground beef

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 slices mozzarella cheese

4 hamburger buns

1/2 cup marinara sauce

8 slices pepperoni

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare Patties:
In a bowl, mix ground beef, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.
Cook Patties:
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for about 4–5 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
Add Cheese and Pepperoni:
Place mozzarella slices and 2 pepperoni slices on each patty during the last minute of cooking. Cover to melt cheese.
Assemble Burgers:
Toast buns if desired. Spread marinara sauce on the bottom buns. Place patties on buns, add extra pepperoni and olives if using, and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
Serve:
Serve warm with your favorite side.
