Ingredients

  • – 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • – 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

  • – 1/2 cup chicken broth or water

  • – 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • – 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • – 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • – 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • – Salt and pepper, to taste

  • – Slider buns or sandwich rolls, for serving

  • – Optional: coleslaw, pickles, or extra BBQ sauce for topping


Instructions

  • Prepare Chicken:
    Place chicken breasts or thighs in the slow cooker.

  • Add Seasonings:
    In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the chicken.

  • Cook:
    Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.

  • Shred Chicken:
    Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred using two forks. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to coat with sauce.

 

  • Serve:
