Three-Cheese Lasagna Roll-Ups: A Cheesy Twist on Traditional Lasagna

For the Roll-Ups:

  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

  • 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 cups marinara sauce

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Prepare the Filling:

    • In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, basil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  • Assemble the Roll-Ups:

    • Lay out cooked lasagna noodles on a flat surface.

    • Spread 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture evenly over each noodle.

    • Roll up the noodles tightly and place them seam-side down in a greased baking dish.

  • Add Sauce & Cheese:

    • Pour marinara sauce over the roll-ups.

    • Sprinkle extra mozzarella and Parmesan on top.

  • Bake:

    • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

    • Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.

 

  • Serve & Enjoy!

    • Let cool slightly before serving.

    • Garnish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan.
