Ingredients
For the Pizza Base:
4 large flour tortillas
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For the Filling:
½ pound (225g) ground beef
1 teaspoon taco seasoning
½ cup refried beans
½ cup salsa
For the Toppings:
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
¼ cup diced tomatoes
¼ cup sliced black olives
¼ cup chopped green onions
¼ cup sour cream (for serving)
Instructions
Prepare the Tortilla Base
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Brush tortillas with vegetable oil and bake on a baking sheet for 5 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
Cook the Filling
In a pan over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water, cooking for another 2 minutes.
Warm the refried beans in a separate pan or microwave.
Assemble the Pizza
Spread a thin layer of refried beans on two crispy tortillas.
Add a layer of seasoned ground beef and a spoonful of salsa.
Place another tortilla on top to form a “pizza” stack.
Bake the Pizza
Top each pizza with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, and black olives.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
Garnish with chopped green onions and drizzle with sour cream. Slice and enjoy!
