Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mixed nuts chopped
  • 1 cup dried fruits like cranberries or raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and dried fruits until evenly distributed.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
