Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti or linguine
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter
Zest of 1 lemon
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup heavy cream or reserved pasta water
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Stir in lemon zest and juice, cooking for another minute.

Add cooked pasta to the skillet along with Parmesan and cream (or pasta water). Toss to coat evenly.

Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
