Ingredients
For the Chicken:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to even thickness)

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for kick)

2 tbsp olive oil
For the Butter Sauce:

1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter

3โ4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/4 cup chicken broth (for extra richness)
Optional Add-ins:

1/2 cup sautรฉed mushrooms or caramelized onions

1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (for depth)
Instructions
1. Prep and Season the Chicken:

Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a small bowl.

Rub evenly over chicken breasts.
2. Sear the Chicken:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook chicken 5โ6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165ยฐF).

Transfer to a plate and tent with foil.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt the butter.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1โ2 minutes until fragrant (not browned).

Stir in lemon juice, parsley, and chicken broth. Simmer for 2โ3 minutes to blend flavors.
4. Bring It Together:

Return chicken to skillet and spoon the butter sauce over the top.

Optionally, top with cheese and cover until melted.
