🍗 Crack Chicken Tenders – The Ultimate Cheesy, Crispy, Addictive Dinner

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken tenders (or sliced chicken breasts)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

For the Coating:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (or 1 packet ranch seasoning + 1/2 cup sour cream)

  • 2 green onions, chopped

Optional for Extra Crunch:

  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers or panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 tbsp melted butter (for topping)


Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Lightly grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper.

2. Season Chicken

  • Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Set aside.

3. Mix Crack Topping

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, ranch dressing (or sour cream + ranch mix), cheddar, bacon, and green onions until well combined.

4. Assemble in Pan

  • Place chicken tenders in the prepared baking dish.

  • Spoon the “crack” topping evenly over each piece of chicken.

  • (Optional) Mix crushed crackers or panko with melted butter and sprinkle on top for crunch.

5. Bake

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and topping is bubbly and golden.

  • (Optional) Broil the last 2–3 minutes for extra browning.

6. Serve

  • Garnish with extra green onions or parsley.

  • Serve hot with a side of mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad.
