Almond Crusted Baked Brie Recipe – A Deliciously Nutty Appetizer

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (812 oz)

  • ½ cup sliced almonds

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • Crackers, apple slices, or bread for serving


Instructions

  • Prepare the Brie:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • Place the Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Coat with Almonds:

    • Brush the Brie with beaten egg to help the almonds adhere.

    • Press the sliced almonds evenly over the top and sides of the Brie.

  • Add Flavor:

    • Drizzle honey over the almonds.

    • Mix melted butter with cinnamon and salt, then brush over the top.

  • Bake the Brie:

    • Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the almonds are golden and the Brie is softened.

 

  • Serve Warm:

    • Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy with crackers, fruit, or bread.
