12 slices bacon

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Bacon:
Cut each bacon slice in half. Partially cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until it starts to brown but is still flexible.
Mix Cheese Filling:
In a bowl, combine shredded cheddar, cream cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and green onions (if using).
Assemble Bites:
Wrap each half slice of bacon around about 1 tablespoon of cheese mixture, securing with a toothpick if needed. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until bacon is crispy and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Let cool slightly before serving.
