Ingredients
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
½ cup barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon black pepper
8 small flour or corn tortillas
For the Toppings:
½ cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
½ cup diced tomatoes
¼ cup sliced red onion
¼ cup chopped cilantro
½ cup sour cream or ranch dressing
1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, combine shredded chicken, barbecue sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until warmed through.
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds per side or until pliable.
Divide the BBQ chicken evenly among the tortillas.
Top each taco with shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro.
Drizzle with sour cream or ranch dressing and serve with lime wedges on the side.
