Cheesy Ground Beef Stuffed Bread Roll: A Delicious and Easy Recipe

  • Author: Hannah

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or French bread dough

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

  • Marinara or ranch, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Beef Filling:

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 6–8 minutes.

    • Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 2–3 minutes.

    • Stir in Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  • Add the Cheese:

    • Once the beef mixture is slightly cooled, stir in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese until evenly combined.

  • Prepare the Dough:

    • Roll out the pizza or French bread dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle (about 10×14 inches).

    • Spoon the beef and cheese mixture down the center of the dough lengthwise.

  • Roll It Up:

    • Fold the sides over the filling, then roll up like a jelly roll, pinching the seams to seal.

    • Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Bake:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • Brush the top with olive oil or melted butter.

    • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  • Serve:

    • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

    • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve with marinara or ranch for dipping.
