Ingredients
For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or 3 tbsp homemade ranch seasoning)
For the Creamy Ranch Sauce:
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup cream cheese, softened
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and half of the ranch seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping the bottom to deglaze the pan.
5. Stir in cream cheese until melted, then add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and the remaining ranch seasoning. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until thick and creamy.
Combine & Simmer:
6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and cover.
7. Simmer on low heat for 10-12 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F).
Serve:
8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
