Ingredients
For the Chicken:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced in half lengthwise)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs (beaten)
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Toppings:
4 slices crispy bacon
4 slices cheddar or mozzarella cheese
¼ cup ranch dressing
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
For Serving:
Hamburger buns or toasted bread (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Dredge chicken in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Assemble the Melt:
5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
6. Place cooked chicken on a baking sheet. Top each piece with a slice of cheese and 1 slice of crispy bacon.
7. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve:
8. Drizzle with ranch dressing and garnish with fresh parsley.
9. Serve on toasted buns or alongside mashed potatoes or a salad.
