450 g ground beef or sausage

1 can (400 g) refried beans

1 package (225 g) cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 can (115 g) diced green chilies, drained

2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)

Sliced green onions or jalapeños (for garnish)


Instructions

Cook the Meat

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess grease.

 

Prepare the Dip

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, mix refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, black pepper, and hot sauce (if using).

Stir in the cooked meat, diced green chilies, and 1 cup of the shredded Mexican cheese blend.

 

Bake the Dip

Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheeses on top.

Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

 

Serve

Garnish with sliced green onions or jalapeños.

Serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.
