1 pound ground Italian sausage

1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 can (8-count) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 cup crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos

Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. -
Cook the Sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
Stir in the pizza sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, and Italian seasoning. Mix until melted and combined. Remove from heat. -
Prepare the Crescent Rolls:
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Place a heaping tablespoon of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle. -
Roll & Seal:
Roll each triangle up tightly from the wide end to the tip, sealing the filling inside. Pinch edges if needed to avoid leaks. -
Coat with Doritos:
Brush each roll with beaten egg, then press and roll them in crushed Doritos until fully coated. -
Bake:
Place on prepared baking sheet and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. -
Serve:
Let cool slightly before serving. Optional: serve with extra pizza sauce or ranch for dipping.
