Garlic Butter Topping:

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
Combine Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, and egg until well combined.
Make Dough:
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Bake:
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Prepare Garlic Butter Topping:
While bread is baking, mix melted butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley.
Serve:
Brush the garlic butter over the hot bread as soon as it comes out of the oven. Slice and serve warm.
